This is part of a dream I had sometime ago. I don't remember anything about it but this image. (or something I later translated into this image)

This print is part of a series of rather small ones I've just finished. Hope you like them.

nice. it's really hard to get things from dreams just right.... did you succeed? usually i fall short, just because dreams are only dreams WHEN they're dreams... lol, if that makes any sense..

This one was made on cypress. It is a little too soft for this kind of work. Hence the lack of precise details. However, I found it great for more impulsive-RightFromTheGuts prints. The best wood I've used for wood engraving comes from coffee roots.

Thank you... I never know if I succeed when it comes to work about dreams. AS you say is f·$!# difficult to get it right. It's like trying to get The Dark Side of the Moon just right on a monophonic ring tone. There's so much that is lost on the way. Yet... they're a good excuse for uploading unexplainable pictures and logging on DA from time to time.

where do you get cypress and WHERE do you get wood made from coffee roots???
